Running Behind?

We get it! We’ve all been there. Follow the guide below to avoid being counted as a “no-show”.

Don’t stress if you’re running a bit late. Just be safe and explain when you’re here.

If you’re going to be more than 20% late (15 minutes max) for your appointment, use the “Last Minute Cancellation” feature on your stylist’s page (use the menu). We will not start later than 20% (15 minutes max) of your booked time.

  • Consultation grace period: 7 minutes

  • 30-minute appointment: 6 minutes

  • 45-minute appointment: 9 minutes

  • 60+: 15 minutes

“I need to call you to tell you I’m running late!”

When you’re running late, we know. We’re not upset because we know that life happens. It happens to us, too. Nobody likes it, and we try to avoid it. Don’t stress.

We do not have a phone number that you call that gives us more minutes or moves our schedule or the schedules of all our clients after you. There is no such thing as “I called so I can be later than the grace period.”

We’re not upset with you.

You don’t have to explain yourself to us. Life is unpredictable, and that’s context enough.

We can’t take you if you’re later than our grace period. It’s a pre-established and impersonal boundary that helps us protect our ability to run on time for our clients.

Cancellation Policy

We don’t make you add a credit card to reserve a spot and don’t charge a fee if you stand us up. It doesn’t happen enough to inconvenience our clients that way. We know that sometimes life happens. However, we do limit how often it makes “life” happen to us.

  • We have a Three Strikes Rule for our established clients. If you stand us up three times, we won’t let you back on our schedule.

  • If you stand us up on your first appointment, we won’t let you back on our schedule.

  • If you exceed our grace period for late arrival, it is counted as a “no-show”. You avoid a “no-show” by initiating a “last-minute cancellation.”

We’re a by-appointment-only semi-private salon, and we do not double-book. We give 100% to our clients and can only do that with these boundaries.
