You want your hair to grow

A trim with me is typically 1/4 of an inch off or less. If you want more trimmed, you have to ask for it because I automatically lean on the side of growing it out.

Hair grows at a rate of 1/4-1/2 inch per month. Your actual rate of growth depends on your genetics and biological composition at any give time. For example, if you're taking certain vitamins, your hair may grow faster. Conversely, if you're not eating healthy and/or coping with stress well, your hair growth may slow down significantly. But, for the most part, you can thank your parents for your rate of hair growth.

A hinderance to hair growth is unhealthy hair. If you can tell that your hair is growing, (ie you get your hair colored and can see the line of demarcation grow out), but your hair isn't getting longer, then you may be damaging your hair.

If your hair is healthy, but still not growing, then you the lifecycle of your individual hairs may be short. Luckily, technology offers a solution. Click the box below to find out what you need.
